Probate Litigation & Will Contests

A will contest is when an heir or beneficiary challenges the capacity or circumstances under which a decedent executed their will.  These types of challenges often lead to relationships being irreparably damaged.  We are experienced at handling will contests and we are uniquely qualified to resolve such disputes in manners that preserve, not destroy, relationships.

Not many law firms have the unique combination of probate and litigation experience that Epling Law has.

Ante-Mortem Probate

Resolving disputes before they begin is often the best way to preserve relationships among those we leave behind.  In that spirit, Ohio has a process that allows you to probate your will while you are alive.  This is particularly helpful to those who believe their relatives will argue over their will.  It's also helpful for those who are older and worried that they may be perceived to have lacked capacity at the time they signed their will.

The attorneys at Epling Law can help you probate your will prior to death (ante-mortem).  This can give you peace of mind by knowing that its terms are put in force.

Litigation

The attorneys at Epling Law handle civil litigation on a variety of matters related to estates, trusts, real estate, and businesses.  Give us a call to see if we can help you.
